Zack and Kelly, a biracial couple, come home to Brooklyn after a weekend at the in-laws upstate and find their apartment burglarized. The onslaught of super-storm Sandy leaves them temporarily unable to contact authorities forcing them to reach out to a young neighbor, Rosa, for help. But a strategically placed confession letter by the burglar leads Zack, Kelly and Rosa into a series of discussions and arguments that challenge their beliefs about race, fear and human equality.
